Carsulae is an ancient Roman city, it is located along the stretch of the new Via Flaminia, near Terni which was once called Interamna and Sangemini called Casventum.
Later abandoned due to landslides, it is still partly buried under a few meters of soil; however, the Arch of Trajan is visible, the consular road Via Flaminia with still the marks of the carts that ran along it, the theatre, Roman houses, the small church of San Damiano and much more dating to around the 8th century B.C.
