Every year on February 14th the Saint Valentine Fair takes place, a traditional appointment with almost three hundred stands that for more than five hundred years has had great success with the citizens. The Fair winds along Viale Trento up to the roundabout that connects it with Viale Turati, where the statue of San Valentino stands, not far from the Basilica. It is in these places that, according to legend, the beloved Valentine, the first bishop of ancient Nahard, was beheaded and buried.
The Fair is always saturated with stalls that almost never find a place along the route for this reason, the San Valentino Market Show was born where there is still room for stalls or gazebos of exhibitors who do not want to give up this appointment.
From the Fair you can also participate in other activities organized in the Basilica or go to the city center to attend the numerous cultural initiatives.
